JMF 1G "RACE Version" Intake Manifold
If it's horsepower your looking for, this is the manifold for you. Introducing our aluminum race sheetmetal intake manifold,
it is recommended for cars running a 20g or larger turbo who want the most top end power. These are hand made, TIG welded
from high quality 6061 T6 aluminum. The flanges are all CNC machined and surfaced for precise fitment and a leak free seal.
Each plenum is press bent to reduce the number of welds which will assure maximum strength under high boost applications.
The plenum measures 16" long, 4 1/4" deep, the plenum also features a 1" taper design to even out the airflow,
with a runner length of 6". Velocity stacks are CNC machined into each plenum bottom to improve airflow by 10-15%. The
vacuum ports are placed on the underside of the plenum for a clean professional look. They are available unpolished or with
a mirror like polish. Included are 4 new 8mmx1.25mm 70mm bolts for the stock throttle body. Expected gains can be anywhere
from 10-45 HP depending upon your setup! These manifolds are designed for DSM's with eliminated EGR.
Some modifications to your coil pack mounts, and upper intercooler pipes may be needed, as this manifold sits down alot lower
then stock. If using the Accufab and other aftermarket throttle bodies, please note that the throttle cable and TPS sensors
may need modifying. We tested several different designs on our own shop car, and the current model
won our vote. It improved our 1/4 mile times from 11.97@116 to 11.55@121. This is a 93 AWD fitted with a stock 7 bolt, stock
head and cams, and an FP Green turbo. Throw some aftermarket cams in there, and the gains will be tremendous! RWD and other
